Viña Ravanal
Viña Ravanal was founded in 1951 by Mario Ravanal, one of the country’s pioneering enologists. The winery blends old-world charm with innovative techniques, offering a unique fusion of heritage and modernity in every bottle. Today, the Ravanal legacy is carried on by his sons and grandchildren, who continue to craft wines with the same dedication and artistry that began over 70 years ago.
Ravanal’s vineyards flourish under ideal conditions—sunny days, cool breezes from the Andes, and rich, well-drained soils—perfect for producing expressive, bold wines. The winery is best known for its premium red varietals, including Carmenère, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah, which capture the intensity and complexity of the Colchagua Valley. White wine lovers will also enjoy their fresh and aromatic Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, cultivated with equal care and expertise.
Over the years, Ravanal Winery has garnered numerous accolades on the international stage, earning gold and silver medals at competitions such as the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles and the International Wine & Spirit Competition. These awards speak to the winery’s commitment to quality and innovation, and they’ve helped place Chilean wines on the global map.
Viña Ravanal was among the first Chilean wineries to export fine wines in the 1990s, helping pave the way for the global success of Chile’s wine industry.
