Meet the Founders

Francisco and Connie are a husband and wife team who started Chile Wine Travel SpA in 2014. Francisco was born in Santa Cruz, which is the heart of Colchagua Valley, and his family moved to the Washington DC area during Chile’s dictatorship. Francisco returned to Chile after 30 years with Connie and they fell in love with the area and countryside.

We discovered that Colchagua Valley was a premier wine valley that had unlimited potential so we started a small tour company. Four years later, we are the leading tour operator in the region and today we offer wine tours and transportation services throughout the central wine regions via www.casablancawinetours.com and maipowinetours.com

Our goal is to create custom experiences, provide professional services, and to help promote Chile’s wine regions. As a result, our clients have memorable experiences and in turn this helps support the local communities.

We are also animal lovers and have rescued and adopted many dogs. We sponsor animal shelters in the area and mass sterilization campaigns. In the near future we hope to establish an animal shelter and raise awareness and educate people on abandonment of animals in Chile.
