Maipo Deluxe Wine Tour

Step into the heart of Chilean wine tradition with a day crafted for true connoisseurs. Maipo Valley is one of the country’s most storied wine regions—home to iconic reds, historic estates, and the birthplace of Chile’s first Icon wine. This deluxe wine tour is designed for travelers seeking a deeper, more exclusive experience.

You’ll begin the day with a Private Collector’s tour and tasting at the Don Melchor estate, followed by lunch at the newly renovated Bodega 1883 restaurant and finish the day at El Principal, a boutique winery at the foot of the Andes producing some of Chile’s most elegant, terroir-driven wines.

9:00AM: Pickup at hotel (Santiago)    

10:00AM: Don Melchor Private Collector’s Experience (Concha Y Toro Estate)
— Begin your day with an exclusive tour and tasting at the legendary Don Melchor estate, one of the most recognized names in Chilean winemaking.
Highlights include:
– Private, guided walk through the gardens of the founder’s summer house.
– Tour of the historic Don Melchor mansion.
– Tasting of 5 wines, including: 3 single-parcel tastings, 1 custom blend of those parcels, 1 current vintage of Don Melchor.
– Visit to the Don Melchor Collection Room.

12:30PM: Lunch at Bodega 1883 (Concha y Toro Estate)
— Dine at the newly renovated Bodega 1883, a stylish and relaxed space blending elegance and innovation.
— A seasonal menu that highlights local ingredients and sustainable practices.
— Enjoy a curated meal with optional wine flights from across the Concha y Toro portfolio including labels like Marques de Casa Concha,Cono Sur, and
the ultra-premium Almaviva.

3:00PM: El Principal (ICON Premium Wine Tasting)
— End the day at El Principal, a boutique winery located in the foothills of the Andes.
— A guided tasting of 4 premium wines: Kiñe, Calicanto, Memorias and El Principal (the winery’s flagship Icon wine)

4:00PM: Depart Maipo Valley

5:30PM: Return to hotel (Santiago)
