Estampa Winery

Created by entrepreneur, Miguel González-Ortiz, the winery was established in 2001, Estampa is a modern winery with a pioneering spirit—becoming the first in Chile to specialize exclusively in assemblage, the sophisticated art of blending grape varietals to craft wines that are greater than the sum of their parts.

While many Chilean wineries focus on single-varietal expressions, Estampa boldly embraces complexity. Their blends often include traditional Bordeaux grapes like Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère, Merlot, and Syrah, grown sustainably on over 300 hectares of estate vineyards. But what truly sets Estampa apart is its unexpected and artful incorporation of Italian varietals, such as Sangiovese and Barbera. These grapes—more commonly associated with Tuscany and Piedmont—bring a fresh twist to Estampa’s blends, infusing them with lively acidity, red fruit brightness, and a distinctive herbal lift.
