VIK & Montes Wine Tours + Lunch at Fuegos de Apalta

This full-day tour visits three of Chile’s most distinctive wineries, with lunch at one of the country’s best-known vineyard restaurants in between.

You’ll start at VIK in Millahue, a winery known as much for its architecture as its wines. From there you head to Fuegos de Apalta, Francis Mallmann’s open-fire restaurant set in the Montes vineyards, for lunch. The day ends at Montes itself, one of Chile’s leading producers, with a tasting of their top labels in the winery’s barrel room. It’s a full day built for travelers who want serious wine, a standout lunch, and three very different settings in one trip.

7:30AM: Pick up at hotel in Santiago

10:00AM: VIK Wine Tour Experience
— Discover “the place of gold” at the avant-garde VIK Winery, designed by architect Smiljan Radic in collaboration with Alex and Carrie Vik.
— Your guided visit showcases:

12:00PM: Depart VIK

1:30PM: Lunch at Fuegos de Apalta (Montes Winery)

4:00PM: Montes Double Icon Wine Tour and Tasting
— Step into the serene barrel room of Montes, where Gregorian chants echo softly through the casks.

6:00PM: Depart Colchagua Valley

8:30PM: Return to hotel in Santiago
